When the sun is up, and the after-midnight community is still in the land of nod, I’m wide awake, leaning on my need to design and smacking my stamp down on the critical world with the kind of vigor usually reserved for crushing Ford Pintos into cubes. They say it’s a design/work/life, but that’s just my life. I think we’re going to get along swimmingly.

Another piece for the Ludvico Treatment!

My brother came out from Montreal two weeks ago, which was a great visit, as I don’t get to see him very often anymore. While he was out here, he released the newest EP for the band, which is awesome. Listen to it here: http://theludvicotreatment.bandcamp.com/album/uncollected

We also played a show together at the Cobalt for Come Friday, of which you can see the poster I made for below.

He asked me to do the album art again, and so in collaboration with H.L. Goyer, we made this piece! M. Goyer made this fantastic piece of digital art which I had the pleasure of working with, and laying some ethereal type onto.

Find more of his stuff here!

Detective playing Come Friday next week, featuring James Greer of Guided by Voices. You can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be at this show!

Hand-done typography for The Ludvico Treatment’s new single Boy Gangsters released online.

The design I did for my brothers show a couple months ago is now a real, live thing that you can put on your sweet bod.

You can buy them here! : http://theludvicotreatment.bandcamp.com/

The final poster for the show. If you’re in and around Vancouver you should come! I’ll be in it!
